You must read this! And you must chop down the tallest tree in the forest with this! But if I had said with this, would I have violated Wikipedia's fair use rules? Did I just now?
I'm impressed that wikipedia doesn't include advertising; they could turn an amazing profit and I don't think that the ads wold have to be so obtrusive as to detract from the content.
If I read this right, it would seem you're okay with using Wikipedia's herring, that it would fall under its "fair use" - given you're using it for nonprofit education. Copyright makes me uneasy though. I can see why the current head of the Wikimedia Foundation is a lawyer who specializes in intellectual property litigation.
