Who Tube?

Well, you could begin with learning as much as you can about YouTube. This is their latest controversy. But video bloggers, independently, have tried to say something about life. And art.

It's a good thing that's art, if it were something else I might've gotten in trouble from the Computer Gestapo by opening it here at work.

While YouTube remains the 800 lb guerrilla (deliberate misspelling) in the room, I would encourage you to check out some of the other video sharing services.

blip.tv is particularly popular amongst the serious video bloggers. Clipshack, vSocial, DailyMotion and others also get a lot of interest.

Check out some of my comments on the different services here.

For an interesting take on the controversy, check out Marc Lamont Hill's blog entry on the topic.
